Uncommon Goods Review

Have you ever heard of a company called Uncommon Goods? If you're a blogger you might have, or if you read Rachael Ray you might have as well. "UncommonGoods (www.uncommongoods.com) is an online marketplace offering creatively designed, high-quality merchandise at affordable prices. At UncommonGoods, we believe that creativity and the expression of individuality represent two great human treasures. We
have set out to create a business that makes uncommon goods accessible to everyone."

You can find almost anything and everything at Uncommon Goods. Imagine walking into a knick knack store where you find treasures you won't find at the mall or any regular Walmart or Target. Something unique and special. That is what Uncommon Goods is, except online.  I wanted to wait a bit to do this review, till it got a bit closer to Christmas, because I think Uncommon Goods makes an excellent online shopping source for this holiday season. And if you've visited their site, you understand. Uncommon Goods sells tons of items including Gifts for Pet Lovers, dog gifts, owl gifts, giraffe gifts and many more.

UncommonGoods presents shoppers with an array of special features that make shopping at UncommonGoods an entertaining, convenient, and uncommon experience.

These features include:

Featured Artist: UncommonGoods highlights the stories of our artists and designers throughout our website as well as our print catalog.
Handmade Goods: Look for the blue hand icon throughout the website to find our handmade goods.
Uncommon Knowledge: UncommonGoods posts surprisingly uncommon information and facts related to certain product categories or featured items on the site. For example, did you know that early candles were often eaten rather than burned? Or that Leonardo da Vinci invented the scissors?

Our Commitment to the Environment: UncommonGoods strives to work in harmony with the environment: our print catalogs are printed on recycled paper (30% post consumer waste) and all our merchandise is produced without harm to animals. Look for the green recycled icon throughout our website for products made of recycled materials.
•Better to Give Program: We donate a portion of each order to your choice of non-profit organizations: American Forests, AmeriCares, City Harvest, and the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN).

The Tapered Stained Glass Bottles was one of my top choices. I love the color and these are actually recycled! So pretty, they would look great in my house.

The Reclaimed Tin Frames is a way to  find a new life framing your family snapshots. Antique ceiling tins add a rustic touch to your treasured images, creating instant heirlooms of happy family memories. Sized to hold a 4x6 picture, these handcrafted frames are a great way to add vintage charm to your photos. I love that they are recycled and they will really uphold the test of time.

And my favorite product is the set of 6 Lucy Socks.  Aren't they adorable? These will be for my new baby, although they would make the perfect gift.  "Let your little princess play dress-up with jewel-toned ballet slipper socks. Six pairs of stretchy slip-ons take a fanciful turn in printed colors topped with satin bows. Comfy and playful, their no-slip soles make for stylish baby steps. Set of six baby socks." Aren't they so pretty and unique?

These are only a few things that Uncommon Goods sells. You can find anything for baby, house, office, jewelry and everything in between. There is something for everyone on their site.
