The project started with an idea. An idea that every person could wear a work of art during his/her daily activities.

All they needed then was an artist, someone who shared our passion for everyday expression and whose work spoke common emotions in an extraordinary way.

This is where Gerardo Vargas comes in and now that they found each other and started creating this label they would not have it any other way. His work on handmade silk screening is the perfect blend of stunning graphics and interesting character, the next step was to translate his images onto a different canvas: t-Shirts.

I received the Birds Top, (which is on sale now for $12) It's a form fitting flattering tank with a unique design on the front that had many people asking me where I got my top. Because of the original artwork, it's a shirt that you won't find many places, you won't find anyone else wearing the shirt around you because it really is one of a kind. I received many compliments on it, and I told a lot of my friends about Jamon Endiablado.

Mila is 3 months old now, and really starting to make a mess! We just starting wearing cute little bibs because she is great at ruining her new clothes with formula! I received the "Like One" ring. The words read, "Like One, Like the Other, Like Daughter, Like Mother"  I love this ring not only for the words but the design and look of the piece.

The ring is Sterling Silver, and simply gorgeous. I especially like the wrap around style. I haven' taken this off since the day I received it, and I don't plan on taking of off anytime soon.  I like to think of it as something I will cherish forever, and when Mila is older it can be a special keepsake that she will wear when I'm gone.

I received this ring a couple weeks ago, but I held off a bit to write the review because I think , and although it is still far away this would make the perfect Mother's Day gift.

Each quote on each BB Becker jewelry piece is inspirational and at least for me, each day I look at my ring and read the writing and think how much I love it!

 

Vince Camuto Eau de Parfum is the debut fragrance of the self-described "fashion footwear and lifestyle designer." The perfume launched exclusively this month on the HSN channel and website. Camuto appeared to promote his signature scent with wife Louise Camuto;. Both were involved in the development of the fragrance through what sounds like a selective process, rather than a perfume development from scratch. One day finally, as Louise Camuto was wearing a new sample unbeknownst to her husband, she provoked an aha reaction in him. Vince Camuto, who had been rejecting mods after mods, that day ondered what that great smell was in the room.

I never even knew Vince Camuto made perfume, I've always used his makeup brand, but I was super excited to try out the perfume. Vince Camuto  has been in the footwear industry for 30 plus years (he was a co-founder of Nine West). He started the Vince Camuto Collection in footwear and then launched his collection into a lifestyle brand.  The bottle is super gorgeous, and I knew this was my kind of scent. Even before I smelled it.  Fit for a princess, the bottle is a sleek gold flacon with a red ribbon. The top is shaped like the logo of the company.  This is how all perfume bottles should be designed.  Classic yet fresh and stylish.

So what does it smell like?  I'm having a hard time explaining exactly what the smell is, but I know i love it. It smells of glamour and romance, but there is no musky or dark strong scent, I get  a strong whiff of leather and nectar, (which is the top note)  It smells similar to Dior Cherie, which is one of my all time favorite perfumes, maybe that's what I'm so drawn to this one.

Vince Camuto describes this parfum as "sophisticated, sexy and contemporary"

Notes are: Top: rum absolute, osmanthus nectar. Heart: Bulgarian white rose, rich leather and night blooming jasmine. Base notes: vanilla absolute, sensual patchouli, warm amber Brazil and skin musk.

I can't stop wearing the new Vince Camuto Eau de Parfum. It is in my top 5 in my stash, and I am super picky when it comes to perfumes. It's either a hit or miss for me, and this is a major hit.  The smell is just as great as his eyeshadows and handbags which I've always been a fan of.
